Hey, if we don't mentor the little ones and show them the fun we all have playing this sport, then when we all get old and gray and can't run any more (like someone important that we all know) then who'll keep us from getting lit up with paint everytime we step out on to the field?
Hmmm - want to keep the sport alive, teach a Young Gun!

I did like to see what yall were doing with the smaller kids during the pirates game I really like that as well, I know as a mom of a 11 yr old boy that is tryin to get into the game and him not really knowing what he is suppose to do, if he was there at that game, he would have loved being apart of that and help make his nerves at easy, along with an ego boost, lol. I think among other things that really sets yall apart from other fields and producers. I dont know if that was the first time yall did that but hopefully in future games thats something that yall will continue to do.

tell me, what did yall do exactly with the kid once you took them to "school" We had a total of 3 classes the young guns attended. The first class led by Trips was on Safety (Guns, Mask, Barrel Socks). The second class led by Darkman was on Medics, Demos and Engineers. The third class led by Seven was on snap shooting and how to use a bunker. Then at the stand down for Final Battle Prep we had a 15 minute Young Gun only battle.

the young gun class was a great idea. major kudos to the individuals who thought it up. i wish there was something like that when i fisrt started, but i guess getting your butt handed to you game after game isnt a bad way of learning either
