Yes, that's right. Due to some extreme circumstances we have decided that its time to count the loses and headaches and close our doors.
We appreciate all the support everyone has given us throughout our journey!

I am saddened by this news, Darkhorse games were quite a bit of fun, and I for one had a great time playing them, whether as an NPC or a player. Thank you for the fun times you did offer in the sadly short time you were doing these games.

Nope more than one. I too will miss you two I never got the NPC gig but loved what you guys did for the young guns. As i said at the last game "they are our future" so we need to teach them well from the start. YOU WILL BE MISSED BY MY FAMILY.....

This is so sad. Due to problems with my son't school projects the timing has been bad for me to make any of these games. I did get to Role Play for the first time ever as Mother Nature in Reindeer Revolt II and had a blast. I'd like to see more of these as I actually prefer 10 hour games. Wish things could have worked out.

This is absolutely heartbreaking! DAMN! I love your games, and have been to almost all of them since you guys put up your flag. I can only imagine has a pain this must be, so I'll just say thank you to all your hard work, and great games, and honestly hope we can all get together at some point, share some beer and look to the future for the Houston scenario...because I honestly can't see it happening without you guys.
Just...damn.

Bobby,
When you started doing games...it was a great day in Houston Scenario history. You gave the paintball community a great place to play, you gave new players a great place to learn, you put on amazing games, reunited old friendships, and created new ones.
There's something to be said about all of that! I, more than anyone I think...understand that life happens. And sometimes, you just have to punt. I want you to know that I think you are one of the greats. It's no secret that I've always had the utmost respect for you as a person, player, and now as a producer and I, and all of Alter Ego, wish you the best of luck in whatever you do and where ever you go.
Take care.

Bobby & Karey,
This is horrible news. I echo so many of the earlier comments. You guys have been so much to the Houston area scenarios. Your events always had a wonderfully fun atmosphere and storyline.
I wish you guys nothing but the best! I consider both of you to be true friends and consider myself so lucky to have met you both! I hope to see you both around the scenario world. I know we all would welcome you at any of the events.
I agree with Raadio. Unfortunately life happens. We all know that.
I hope that one day you may be able to re-enter the scenario production world if you ever choose to do so again.
The scenario world has truly lost a major asset.
We all wish you well in your future endeavors.
Please do keep in touch.

I'm saddened as well. I think Darkhorse helped introduce a lot of new players to scenario in a way that they felt welcomed and were able to learn in a friendly environment that made them want to come back again and be part of it. Cookie and I enjoyed the Darkhorse events we attended, and were looking forward to others.
Come to think of it, Cookie's first actual, enjoyable experience playing a well-run, organized scenario event was a Darkhorse game, and it made her want to play more scenarios.
If you should reconsider, and there is anything I can do to help, I hope you will let me know. You guys were good for Houston paintball and scenario. I agree with everyone when I say I don't want to see Darkhorse go away.
However, I also can understand that life changes, and sometime we have to change with it. But, like I said, if I can do anything....I'm here. Just let me know.
