What are the rules for using a LAW in a Pirate Game. I know the GSRP rules but Pirates don't have Helo or Tanks are there going to be other prop that will replace those for example ship, small boat, etc.....

GOOD QUESTION! ;D Actually...in trying to keep the game somewhat realistic...while adding some humor, it was kicked around that LAWS were actually cannons! BIG...HEAVY...CANNONS, and therefore should be mounted on "Wheels" of some kind. Further research revealed that "Rail Guns" or "Deck Guns" were a staple aboard any ship and used as "anti-boarder" guns. These fired a canister or a grapeshot and were very effective...but I'm rambling... Sooo...Here's the addendum for LAWS for "Port Royale Challenge"... 12 gram fueled LAWS will be the equivalent of a "Rail Gun" shooting a "Canister Round". They are capable of destroying the object targeted and eliminating players within a ten foot radius surrounding the destroyed target. (MUST inform ref BEFORE firing! Must be used on Structures, barrels, etc. MUST strike predesignated target! NOT to be used as an anti-personnel weapon! YOU CANNOT FIRE AT PLAYERS OR GROUPS OF PLAYERS!!!) Any Pirate may use a "Deck Gun" without special designation. (IE: gunner's mate) You may carry a maximum 3 canisters (rockets) and unlimited 12grams on-field. C/A or Bulk Co2 fueled laws will be the equivalent of the Full scale Cannons. For argument's sake we'll say 12 pounder's. Because of their size and power, All said Canons must be wheel mounted! (IE: put it on bicycle wheels, a little red wagon...I don't care..but you can't carry it OR pick it up to shoot it. Uunnleesssss...you have 3 guys to pick it up and hold it while you fire it! (Yeah...we're assuming you can pull an anchor aboard with one hand... ok...4 people pick the cannon up and one of them fires it. Otherwise...you fire from the ground...cart...tricycle...whatever.) The Ball shot will VAPORIZE EVERYTHING within 25 feet of targeted impact. (MUST inform ref BEFORE firing! Must be used on Structures, barrels, etc. MUST strike predesignated target! NOT to be used as an anti-personnel weapon! YOU CANNOT FIRE AT PLAYERS OR GROUPS OF PLAYERS!!!) The trigger person must be a "Master Gunner" or "gunners mate" See pilot (general) for credentials and tape! The "Cannon may carry 5 rounds on the gun! (Carriage, wagon, whatever) The MG or GM may not carry any additional rounds! Taping it OffYour choice...You might be able to convince a ref to do it for you, and... NO You are not neutral! Taping is your choice! Now...whether you tape or not, the initial results will be the same. things will go boom...players will be eliminated...missions will be completed. Taping an object denies it's use to both sides. you can be around it...but you can't get in. Don't tape it up? The object can be re-occupied. AGAIN...inform the ref! Recovering spent rounds:First and foremost!!!! MARK YOUR ROUNDS WITH YOUR TEAM NAMES...YOUR NAME...WHATEVER...but PLEASE mark your rounds! Unmarked rounds are LOST rounds! Confirm with the ref they have recovered your round! You will be able to recover your spent rounds from the Shop at the Mercantile. Simply show the merchant one of your rounds. If he has any of them you may recover them for 1 gold coin each. (Give the ref a reasonable amount of time to get yer rockets to the market. 15 to 20 minutes should be plenty!) Sooooo...any questions? Ummm folks....let's make sure this info gets passed around! Thanks! ;D

Here comes the questions:
Since the LAWs are on wheel do paintball hits count as elimination of the player pulling/pushing/moving it?
If the group is running with the cannon on wheel and the one pulling/pushing/moving it gets eliminated can he leave the cannon for the other players in his group to use?
Can a Cannon or Rail Gun be used to destroy another Cannon?

ok...here goes..(I was waiting for this buddy!)
Since the LAWs are on wheel do paintball hits count as elimination of the player pulling/pushing/moving it?
NO! Hits to the cannon will NOT eliminate the mule. If the mule gets hit, regular hit rules apply. In case of grenade...fragmentation device..grenade rules apply..no damage to cannon. Powder sticks, (Dynamite). 25 foot blast radius...all gone.
The Cannon is NOT a Prop...but A piece of personal property. Upon elimination of the Owner...the owner can decide whether to leave it onfield or not. DHS accepts no liability for "lost cannons". NO..you cannot capture the other team's cannon.
If the group is running with the cannon on wheel and the one pulling/pushing/moving it gets eliminated can he leave the cannon for the other players in his group to use?
YES! The owner of the gun has final say so. (see above) REMEMBER!!! AnyONE can pull a cannon. Only a Master Gunner or Gunner's Mate can fire the cannon. YOU CAN PICK THE CANNON UP BUT IT TAKES 4 PLAYERS!
Can a Cannon or Rail Gun be used to destroy another Cannon?
ONLY WHEN THERE IS A ZERO CHANCE OF A PLAYER BEING HIT! Be aware of what is around your target! REMEBER THE BLAST RADIUS!
Example 1:
You ambush the cannon detail. They leave the cannon out in the open and scramble for cover. You may attempt to blow it up using a rail gun or a cannon. Powdersticks work well too! You can tape it or let them drag it off to the deadbox.
Example 2:
Your group eliminates all players. The cannon is left. You can't take it, but you can blow it up. OR...you can just let them drag it off to the deadbox/hospital
Example 3:
You overrun the base and the cannon is left behind. You may blow it and wrap it with demo tape. It must be repaired before being used again.
How's that? Got Anymore?
;D

Great job on clearing up those questions. ;D ;D
Are we require to drag our cannon to the Shop at the Mercantile to pickup our rounds or can the MG or GM go purchase the rounds and bring it to the cannon?
Let's said I have 10 rounds (Nerfs) and I'm only allowed to carry 5 rounds on the cannon. Once I shoot the first 5 rounds can I go to the Deadbox, Staging area, or command base and retrieve the other 5 rounds? Depending on the answer to this one there are additional questions. ;D

Ok bro...here we go!
Are we require to drag our cannon to the Shop at the Mercantile to pickup our rounds or can the MG or GM go purchase the rounds and bring it to the cannon? I am assuming you are refering to this: The "Cannon may carry 5 rounds on the gun! (Carriage, wagon, whatever) The MG or GM may not carry any additional rounds! This was only meant to limit the amount of "rounds" onfield per cannon. It's more of a "per gun" limit. Much like a "Rail Gun" can only carry 3 rounds for a rail gun. (REMEMBER, No special MOS card needed for a "Rail Gun") So I will answer, NO, you are not required to drag the cannon to the mercantile to pick up your rounds. You may RECOVER your spent rounds at the mercantile by showing a proper ID, (see post above) and then transport them to the Cannon.
Let's said I have 10 rounds (Nerfs) and I'm only allowed to carry 5 rounds on the cannon. Once I shoot the first 5 rounds can I go to the Deadbox, Staging area, or command base and retrieve the other 5 rounds?
Since the object is to limit the amount of rounds onfield, You would need to go OFF-FIELD to get your other 5 rounds. (But why do that when you can pick up your spent rounds onfield within 15 to 20 minutes) If you just gotta go off-field to get more rounds...NORMAL INSERTION RULES WILL APPLY!
I hear this one coming... How do we distinguish Cannon shot from Rail Gun shot?
Literally...we can't. They are all nerf rockets. We are depending on the players sportsmanship levels to make this work! Since this is a fun and silliness game, I don't believe we'll have any issues with this. HOWEVER...if there are issues...they will be dealt with on an individual basis and the decision of the Ultimate WILL BE FINAL. (IE: I will back the Ultimate Refs decision.)
NEXT!

Also what if I carry a Rail Gun and drag a cannon can I carry 8 (3 for the rail plus 5 for the cannon) rounds? I think I know the answer but better to ask... ;D ;D

It would make you a SUPER PIRATE.
Darkman says that only superman can drag a 12 pound canon and a rail gun...............
You'd only have to wear it while you were using them both..................................

You could be SUPER PIRATE!
