How much do you want to spend on one? That'll define the type of Launcher you can built. Under $50 you can built one with a 12 Gram Quick Changer, Ball Valve, Steel Pipe, and PVC pipe. Under $150 you can make a real nice Launcher but it'll take more time and planning. I can give you the basic design for one. Here's one I've built. I've started another one but that one is a little more complex.

i like the one you have pictured there. is that an ion frame? Yes, it's an Ion Frame. Here's some real simple instructions to make a 12 gram Launcher. www.houndsofhellpaintball.com/articles1.htmlOne thing I would change on his instructions is instead of making a hole and screwing in the 90 Degree fitting into the PVC I would hook it up similar to my setup in the rear of the PVC pipe. Takes three more cheap parts but it'll give it some more range and is a little safer. well if it is anything like building a potato gun i kind of know how to do that, Yes, the concepts are the same as a Potato gun. You'll want to use a metal air chamber. Some fields will not allow it if you don't have a metal air chamber.

I could but there's just too much Liability involved. I can give you pointers on it. Also his air chamber is PVC. You want to stay away from that.

well couldent you use a CO2 tank for the chamber?

We've actually are testing other type of metal air chamber. The CO2 would require that we drill out the ASA fitting. The current fitting will not allow enough air volume to shoot a nerf a good distance. In additional the fitting is non-standard thread which makes it hard to adapt to NPT fittings.
My current Air Chamber is a fire extinguisher which works well the only issue is that it's a little too width for the launcher on the video. All other metal air chamber makes it too expensive or too heavy. One of my guy had purchased a Copper Air Chamber 2" x 16" which was expensive and heavy.
